Plot : During a dark period in her past, Linette was convinced an abortion was her only chance to escape a failed relationship with a married man and to pursue a career in music. She finds new happiness in her mentor, David, whom she eventually marries. But Linette’s life strikes a sour note when her past mistake catches up on her, and she becomes incapable of fulfilling David’s dream to start a family.
