Plot : Claire falls in love with a fisherman named Dante. Despite her father’s disapproval, she marries him and starts a family. During the early years of their marriage, Dante starts to show his violent tendencies to his wife. Claire chooses to understand him, and blames herself often for his aggravation toward her. Years passed, and the battering continues. Unable to bear his abuses anymore, Claire is forced to gun down Dante. Claire then runs away with his child and settle elsewhere. The authorities, however, track her down and apprehend her.
