Plot : Rita’s defiance prompts her to leave home and make her own living as a dancer in a nightclub. There she meets Pepito, an affluent businessman who pursues her avidly and presents to her a proposition: that she be his mistress and live in a house he bought for her. Rita accepts his proposal and in the course of living together she falls madly in love with a man she can never truly own.
